SBK Petrochemicals Group LLC

The Petrochemicals Group manages SBK Holdings’ interests in the downstream oil sector, ranging from the manufacturing, blending and distribution of lubricants and other petrochemicals, to forecourt retail.

EMALAB, based in Jebel Ali, Dubai, is a manufacturer of Linear Alkyl Benzene (LABs), an intermediate product used in the production of detergents.  EMALAB’s facility is one of only six plants in the world which uses DeTAL processes to eliminate the usage of hazardous chemicals ducting the manufacturing process.

SBK Petroleum Group also includes Al Maha Petroleum.  With more than 160 filling stations in Oman, and operations serving public and private sectors across the Gulf, Al Maha Petroleum is one of the largest players in the Gulf market.
